Great location, helpful staff, comfortable rooms, perfect pool area, reasonably priced food. Good for walking with reliable bus service. Impressive view from dining room, bedrooms & patio. Nice sunbathing area. Brilliant for exploring mountains by car or on foot. Very friendly waiters and chefs.

We stayed at this hotel for a few days in March. Its situation is impressive overlooking a deep valley with mountains all around. Every room has a balcony with a view and there is a lovely terraced area around the swimming pool which has a sliding cover for winter or cold weather. It's a steep walk up from the town but many of the guests are there for the walking and outdoor activities. We liked the quiet atmosphere in the hotel but not many of the advertised activities seemed to be in action. The food was help yourself buffet style and there was an adequate range of choices, mostly typical international cuisine.

The location and the view is fantastic. Good fitness and workout facilities and many possibilities for activities. Very friendly staff, good atmospfere. Very cosy area around the heated pool. Situated far way from the areas with many tourists and hotels, and yet the sea and the 'citylife' is only a 45 minutes drive away. Beautiful walks in the mountains and the village nearby.
The room was a bit small, and we had to bring our own tea- and coffeemaking facilities. We would of course have preferred, that they had been part of the rooms facilities. The beds were a bit hard. The food was ok but not excellent.

The location of the hotel on the top of the village, the view, the room and the spa excellent feeling
Its a pity, we liked the hotel very much but the food, breakfast and even more the dinner, both in buffet, was not in comparaison with the other services in the hotel. The quality and choice was below expectations, it felt like a very cheap meal.

The sorounding landscape, the quietness in the hotel and the free services: indoor pool (open on hot days), sauna, jacuzzi. You do need a car to get anywhere else on the island but the location itself is ne of the best if you like having some trees around as Gran Canaria is very dry by in large. The place is a well located for hikes, which was our reason of going to Canaria in March.
Food needs to be improved. The juices, and deserts are very poor quality. The meat is also bad and sometimes they serve frozen fish or frozen vegetables that are at cantine level. However they do have more vegetables then hotels tend to have even at breakfast.

I had a great stay at this hotel. The location on top of a hill was perfect for me, providing a peaceful and relaxing environment. The views from my room and the restaurant were breathtaking, allowing me to enjoy the mountain ridges and traditional hill villages. The staff was friendly and helpful, making my dining alone experience comfortable and enjoyable. The food quality and presentation was exceptional, providing great value for the price. Additionally, the facilities including the pool, spa, and gym were excellent, adding to my overall experience.
Nothing I didn't like to be fair.

We had a fantastic time at a mountain hotel surrounded by natural beauty. We enjoyed hiking the excellent trails in the area, exploring the nearby traditional hill village, and the stunning views down to the coast. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a lovely balcony to take in the scenery. The bathroom was clean and well-equipped, and the staff were incredibly friendly and provided great service. Breakfast was a delicious buffet with plenty of options. We also took advantage of the outdoor swimming pool and had a relaxing time.
The hotel could improve its soundproofing, as we could hear some noise from adjoining rooms.

The location (high up in the centre of the island near an attractive village), patio with extensive views, generally quiet and peaceful, easy to park, fairly large comfortable room, helpful staff, room kept immaculately clean, wide choice for breakfast.
A few minor niggles not expected in a hotel in this price range e.g. no plug for the washbasin, outside table but no chairs (only sun loungers) provided, no way of locking the patio doors part-open at night (though a hiking pole can be used for this if you have one). Dinner options in the hotel were limited to a buffet (there was supposed to be a-la-carte but never available); fortunately other options available in San Bartolome or a short drive away.

its location in the mountainous and less well-known part of Gran Canaria.
The food was repetitive and a little uninspired, with not all that much choice.

The location of this hotel was ideal for experiencing the local area. We were able to easily access the beach and local shops, which was great. the hotel's facilities were impressive. We particularly loved the swimming pool and gym, which were both in great condition. The staff were helpful and friendly, which added to our overall experience at the hotel.
The room we stayed in was outdated, with some parts of it being in need of repair. The shower was temperamental, and we had difficulty getting it to provide hot water consistently.

The views from the restaurant and teeaces and rooms were excellent. The on-site recreation facities were good and the activitie co-ordinator, Adam, was enthustastic, and friendly but not pushy.
Rooms were noisy. Some doors and windows were showing signs of age.
